Terms of Service

§ 01The agreement

By creating a Naksh account or otherwise using the Naksh app or trynaksh.com (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. These are a contract between you and TRADOMATE BV ("Naksh," "we," "us"). If you don't agree to any part of them, please don't use the Service.

These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines.

§ 02Who can use Naksh

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be legally permitted to enter into a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction.
  • You must not have previously been removed from the Service for a breach of these Terms or our Community Guidelines.
  • You must not be on a sanctions list maintained by the Government of India or any other applicable authority.

§ 03Your account

You are responsible for your account and for the activity that happens under it. In practical terms:

  • Use your own real name and your own real photos. Impersonation is grounds for removal.
  • Submit a valid government-issued ID during verification. Forged or borrowed documents will result in permanent suspension and may be reported to authorities.
  • Keep your phone number current — it is how we secure your account.
  • Don't share your account with anyone else. One profile per person.

§ 04Community guidelines

These are the rules of the room. They are non-negotiable.

  • Be honest. Your photos, your age, your profession, your marital status — all real.
  • No harassment, abuse, or hate speech. Based on caste, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • No nudity or sexually explicit content. In photos, prompts, or chats with people you haven't met.
  • No money asks. No requests for money, gifts, or financial favours. We treat this as fraud.
  • No off-platform marketing. Naksh is not a place to sell anything, including yourself as a service.
  • Respect a no. If someone unmatches or stops replying, that's the end of the conversation.
  • Report problems. Use the in-app report flow, or write to safety@trynaksh.com.

Breaching these guidelines can result in a warning, a temporary suspension, or permanent removal. For severe breaches — including sexual misconduct, fraud, or threats — we may notify law enforcement.

§ 05Content you upload

You keep ownership of everything you upload to Naksh — your photos, your prompts, your messages. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and transmit that content only for the purpose of operating the Service. We don't claim any other rights over your content.

You must have the right to share whatever you upload. Don't upload photos of other people without their consent, and don't upload anything that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other right.

§ 06Premium & fees

The core Naksh experience is free. A premium tier offers optional enhancements — deeper filters, additional daily introductions, and a few quality-of-life touches. Premium is billed by the App Store (and, in future, the Play Store), in the currency of your country, and is subject to their refund rules in addition to ours.

You can cancel premium at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused portion of a period unless required by law.

§ 07Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Breach these Terms or our Community Guidelines;
  • Pose a risk to other members or to us;
  • Cause us to be exposed to legal liability;
  • Have been inactive for an extended period (we will warn you first).

You may delete your account at any time from You · Settings · Account · Delete. Deletion is described in our Privacy Policy § 08.

§ 08No warranty for outcomes

We work hard to calculate compatibility scores consistently and to keep the Service available, but we cannot promise that:

  • You will meet anyone, let alone marry anyone;
  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in your area at all times;
  • Any member you meet through the Service is honest, safe, or compatible with you.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," to the maximum extent permitted by law. Do your own due diligence before meeting anyone offline. Meet in a public place. Tell a friend where you're going. Trust your gut.

§ 09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Naksh's total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you have paid Naksh in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ₹10,000.

Naksh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, goodwill, or data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

§ 10Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Naksh against any claim brought by a third party that arises out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or content you upload. We will tell you promptly about any such claim and let you participate in its defence at your expense.

§ 11Disputes & governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Kolkata, West Bengal.

Before filing anything, please write to legal@trynaksh.com. Most things we can resolve in a conversation.

§ 12Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you in the app and by email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the new Terms. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
